Matthew Roope

Matt has over 20 years’ experience helping companies grow by providing actionable and independent advice on strategic and commercial issues. Matt works across industries, but has particular expertise in the retail and consumer goods, financial services, mining, and minerals processing sectors.

Matt was previously a Partner at boutique Australian strategy advisory firm Port Jackson Partners. He has also held senior strategy and commercial positions at Endeavour Group (formerly Woolworths Liquor), Rio Tinto, and Aware Super. Matt draws on this experience to provide practicable advice with measurable impact.

Matt was raised in Sydney but has lived and worked across Europe and Asia. He is a keen motorsport fan, both as a competitor and a spectator, and enjoys swimming, kayaking, and bushwalking with his wife and two daughters.
