Graham Bougen
Graham is a founding Partner of GNG Partners and brings hands-on global experience in driving growth across healthcare, aged care, energy, technology, telecommunications, retail, agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, venture capital and infrastructure.
Raised in rural New Zealand, Graham has lived and worked in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, the US and Asia. He began his career as a structural engineer with global consulting firm Arup, working on major building projects in New Zealand and Australia, before joining Port Jackson Partners, an Australian boutique strategy firm, where he developed his strategy skills.
He then moved into operating roles, starting the value-added business at Alliance Group, a major New Zealand meat supplier, to diversify it away from commodity product. After building that business in Europe and developing the global roll-out plan, he joined Australian technology company MessageMedia to establish its European office.
Graham leads GNG Partners' quantitative tools development and has deep experience in the quantitative elements of marketing, pricing optimisation, logistics and network efficiency in complex industries. He is a hands-on partner who works closely with clients and typically follows recommendations through to the early stages of practical implementation.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland.
Graham is married with two children and enjoys most sports and getting into the country.
