Michael Byrne AM
Michael has more than 30 years' experience in Australia and internationally across the logistics, supply chain, retail and property sectors.
He currently serves on the boards of Ausgrid, NSW Ports and Peel Ports UK, and is strategic adviser on infrastructure to IFM Investors and AustralianSuper. His previous roles include Managing Director of Toll Group Holdings, CEO of Coates Hire, Linfox and Westgate Holdings, and non-executive director of Australia Post. He also served as International Freight Coordinator at Austrade, supporting the Federal Government's COVID-19 response. His past boards include Sydney Airport, CBH Group and National Intermodal Corporation, along with a number of government boards.
Michael holds a Master of Science in Transportation and Infrastructure from the University of Denver and is an Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Supply Chain and Logistics at Deakin University.
