Simon Gattorna
Simon brings a wealth of experience in financial services consulting and industry, spanning Australia, the UK, the US, the Middle East and Asia. He specialises in business strategy, transformation and operational excellence, with a track record of delivering impactful change and sustainable performance improvement for leading financial institutions.
Simon was a Senior Principal at Boston Consulting Group, where he delivered major strategy engagements, before joining Commonwealth Bank of Australia as General Manager, Institutional Banking and Markets, serving the commercial banking needs of large corporate and government organisations. As a Partner at Deloitte he specialised in strategy, operational turnaround and restructuring, leading major bank strategy refreshes. At EY he continued to drive transformation across banking and capital markets as a Partner in Financial Services Business Transformation Consulting.
Since 2023 Simon has focused on tailored solutions in business strategy, transformation and operating model design, including segmentation, insights and operating model redesign for a major Australian bank.
He holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance from UNSW, and is a Chartered Accountant (Australia & New Zealand).
Simon grew up in Sydney and enjoys golf, rugby union, kayaking, travel and exploring fine wine.
